Functions of Library Advisory Committee

The basic functions of Library Advisory Committee are as follows.

1) Advise Librarian on better and smooth functioning of the library

2) Review the library budget and advise on the same

3) Help the librarian to sort out problems in the library

4) Help the librarian To take decisions on automation, digitization etc

5) To revise and discuss library rules and regulations

6) To review the progress of the library and advise the librarian on the same

7) To suggest new additions, and discuss policy matters of the library
